Criteria

       

If you would like to become one of our clients and apply for a Immigration Visa to Australia, you or your partner should satisfy the essential criteria (please note: only essential requirements are listed) of one of the following categories:

A. General Skilled Migration Category:

1. Age - less than 49 years (an ideal age - less than 33 years)
2. English language - ability to achieve score of at least 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 in General or Academic IELTS, depending on your occupation
3. Successful qualification or qualification and work experience assessment
4. State Government or Territory nomination (not always required)
5. Work experience - at least 1 - 6 years, depending on your occupation

B. Business Category:

1. Age - less than 55 years (in exceptional circumstances more), an ideal age - 30 to 45 years
2. English language - ability to achieve score of at least 5.0 in IELTS (knowledge of English is not mandatory)
3. In any 2 of 4 fiscal years, you (applicant or applicant and spouse) had net assets in a qualifying business of at least AUD$ 200 000
4. In any 2 of the last 4 fiscal years immediately preceding your application for visa you had an ownership interest in a business or businesses that had an annual turnover of at least AUD$ 300 000
5. Your combined personal and business assets (property, land, cash, shares, cars etc) have a net value of at least AUD$ 600 000

The ownership requirement of business owner visas are:
51% where the business turnover is less than AUD$ 400 000
30% where the business turnover is AUD$ 400 000 or more
10% where the business is a publicly listed company

C. Investor Category:

1. Age - less than 55 years (in exceptional circumstances more), an ideal age - 30 to 45 years
2. English language - ability to achieve score of at least 5.0 in IELTS (knowledge of English is not mandatory)
3. Throughout at least 1 of the 5 fiscal years immediately before your application for visa is made, you (applicant or applicant and spouse) had an ownership interest in an eligible investment activity or a qualifying business activity of at least AUD$ 750 000
4. Throughout the 2 fiscal years immediately before your application for visa is made, the net value of your business and personal assets (applicant or applicant and spouse) was at least AUD$ 1 125 000

D. Family Category: Partner Visa, Spouse Visa - wife, husband, de facto / defacto partner, fiance, fiancee, interdependent partner, dependent, dependant etc.
You have a close relative who is Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.

E. Student:
Student Visa - various alternatives of temporary residence leading into possible permanent residence are available.

F. Distinguished Talent:
You have an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in one of the following areas: a profession, a sport, the arts, academia and research.

It is expected that applicants for visa to Australia of all categories be of a good health and good character.
